Day Geckos make great hands-off pets. Their bright colors and inquisitive personality, coupled with ease of breeding many species, makes them a true gem of a lizard. Plus, they're easy to feed! Day geckos will eat feeder insects, but a large portion of their diet should consist of premade powdered foods.

All feeder insects should be dusted with a quality vitamin/mineral supplement. We recommend offering feeder insects, such as crickets or waxworms, 2-3 times every week. When offering feeder insects, make sure to dust them with Repashy Calcium Plus. Powdered Diets are mixed with water, and can be offered mixed with each other, or alternating throughout the week. This will vary quite a bit based on an individual gecko's taste - often, it may be wise to see what the gecko was eating at the breeder's, and going from there.
