This complete bioactive kit contains everything you need to set up a ball python in a 40B bioactive enclosure - just add the tank! It includes:

1. 40B Screen Top, Green Glo LED Fixture, Dome and halogen bulb

Our sturdy, secured screen top and cage clips work well with any 40B aquarium. Paired with a compact top and powerful LEDs to grow plants, as well as a dome and halogen bulb for temp control, and you're all set!

2. BioBedding, Leaf Litter, Dried Moss, Springtails and Isopods

Bioactivity starts from the ground up, and we have the good stuff! Josh's Frogs Biobedding Tropical is the perfect bioactive substrate for ball pythons. Topped with dried moss and leaf litter, these substrates work with Bioactive Booster to provide a clean, fresh substrate for microfauna. Feed your springtails and isopods Clean up Crew Cuisine to keep them healthy and on the top of their game.

3. Josh's Frogs Ball Python Plant Kit

Our plants have been carefully selected to ensure they'll thrive in a ball pythong setup. Just make sure to rinse the plant well before use, and remove any soil from the root system. Plant directly into the Biobedding.

4. Cork Tube and Artificial Rock Hide

Cork Tubes and Rock Hides provide great visual barriers and places for your ball python to get out of sight (which will be pretty much always). We recommend placing the artificial rock hide under the basking spot, where it can absorb some heat, and placing the cork tube at the opposite end of the enclosure.

5. Water Bowl, Spray Bottle, and Dechlorinator

Keep your snake and plants happy and hydrated! If using tap water, make sure to always use dechlorinator. Keep the water bowl full and clean weekly. You will need to mist the enclosure 1-2 times a day.
