Common name(s): African Mask, Pink Dragon Elephant’s Ear

Defining Characteristics: 

• Broad curved leaves with deep-set, pale-colored veins set atop a rosy pink stem
• The leaves and stem of this plant resemble that of the Alocasia ‘Polly’ but has smoother leaf margins
• A fairly compact Alocasia species that is slightly more durable in its care than other similar species.

Care Notes: Leaves may brown or drop with inconsistent watering. Maintain evenly wet soil with adequate drainage. Avoid direct sunlight or drafty areas. In winter months, reduced watering may cause leaves to drop but they will be replaced during the growing season.
