Melafix is a tea tree oil based treatment that has natural antibacterial properties. It promotes regrowth of damaged tissue and treats mild cases of fin or tail rot. It is ideally used for less severe issues, especially for preventing infections before they happen. It is not recommended to replace antibiotics for more serious infections.
