The plants love it!

I got one of the 17 inch for my 18 inch cube terrarium. I’ve never taken care of plants before and was worried I was going to kill every single one of my frogs plants. Everything is growing extremely fast. I even had a bromeliad that was sitting around for months dry as a bone. None of its leaves were red anymore. I was sure it was a lost cause but through it in anyway. It’s been about 3 weeks and it’s definitely grown and it’s color is coming back. I wouldn’t mount this inside something that’s only 18 inches tall though. After all the substrates are in its only about a foot from the substrate and your high plants will either dry up or block all the light. Also, it does generate heat. Mine is on the outside glass top and it raises the temp about 8 degrees. I’m going to get something to raise it off the top a few inches. Some days I turn it off early because I worry about my frogs. The is the best growing lamp I have ever had.

most important detail left out.

How many Watts per bulb is critical information. Is it 3 Watts / one watt / or .5 watts ?
