 Spider plants (Chlorophytum comosum) a perennial, evergreen herb and a very popular and easy to grow houseplant. Long ribbon-like foliage with green and yellow/white variegation is typical but varies somewhat based on the particular cultivar. Plants over a year old will grow out runners on which will produce 'pups' or 'baby plantlets' that can be removed to start new plants.
