This ecological substrate is ideal for increasing humidity in the terrarium and is totally safe for frogs, salamanders and burrowing or digging animals. I like this product for my leopard geckos huts.
This moss holds water for a long time and stays soft. It stays softer even when its dry. My geckos like it in their huts and shedding bowls. Thank you for carrying this product.

Great moss for vivariums!
The moss arrived about four days after being ordered, impressive because winters in Wyoming typically make shipping difficult! I ripped off a small chunk of dried moss about four inches long and one inch back.......once I soaked it in water for a few minutes, it expanded and completely filled two 32 oz deli cups to the top! It expands a lot more than expected. Fluffy, light, and smells great! My crested gecko and golden gecko pair love it, as will my hatchling mourning geckos when they arrive from Josh’s Frogs!
