A lamp specially designed as a basking spot lamp. The tight beam can be directed precisely on an area to create a basking site. The heat and light in the beam is increased by 35%, allowing greater distances between the bulb and the basking site. The UVA (ultraviolet A) light contributes to reptiles’ physiological well-being.

Works great
I bought this light to use on my hatching bearded dragon. I was using a different 75 watt basking spot bulb that was not giving me the temp and conditions I wanted. The day I switched to this bulb I saw an immediate difference. My beardie was more active and had an appetite increase. This bulb also kept his basking spot at the right temp and seemed to increase the ambient temperature of the enclosure. Great product will definitely continue using these bulbs for my bearded dragon and other reptiles.
