Hermit crabs need a habitat that replicates their natural environment as closely as possible. The Blue Daylight Bulb provides the heat that the Hermit Crab would normally receive from sunlight. This is not recommend as a sole heat source as it can significantly decrease humidity. Use Fluker's Thermometer and Hygrometer inside your crab's enclosure to make sure your crab's environment is the correct temperature and humidity.
