Josh's Frogs Coco Husk Block is a coconut-based mulch that drains well and is coarser than Coco Fiber. The Coco Husk Block is (5 kg/38 quarts) and will expand when soaked in dechlorinated water.

How to Prep: Soak the Coco Block for at least 1 hour before use. Each Coco Brick will expand to 4-6 times its original volume, based on the amount of water used. Josh's Frogs Dechlorinator Tap Water Conditioner will make your tap water safe. Only soak what you plan to use, do not store wet.

Recommended Animals: Coco Husk is perfect for a wide range of lizards, snakes, tortoises, salamanders, frogs and other reptiles and amphibians that require moderate to high humidity. Coco Husk is ideal for spiders, scorpions, tarantulas, millipedes, and other invertebrates as well!

Care: Coco Husk can dry out, so monitor your humidity levels and mist as needed. Spot clean as you see messes. Completely change out every 6 months to a year, or as you feel is needed.
