Won't set up

I mixed it exactly as instructed 1:1 ratio. It is still thin liquid, 16 hours later. I have made 2 batches and the same thing happened with both. There is also alot of white clumps in the dry mix. Why won't it "set up" for me? Am I doing something wrong?

Works well!

I use this as an additive to my fruit fly cultures and the flies seem to love it!

Gut load

I gutload all my blue bottle flies with this. I add a little sugar to it or honey to bring more flies. It works wonders. The flies I raise stay near the cup. Also i add a couple toothpicks to the caps before it sets for the flies to climb in and out on.
