About This Product

Species Name: Neoregelia 'Fireball' X (macrosepala x farinosa)

Common Name: Brom, Neo Brom

Defining Characteristics: 

  • Shiny olive foliage with a tan to purple base
  • Suitable for large vivaria
  • Background plant grows best attached to the hardscape as an epiphyte

Care Notes: Brighter, filtered sunlight will bring out more color in the foliage. If the humidity around your bromeliad is low, daily misting can help the plant thrive.  Stagnant water in the cup needs to be replaced regularly to avoid crown rot.

As a good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home. Live plants may vary in color, size, and appearance.

Bromeliads are shipped bare root. Without pots or soil.

Largest brom I've had

I was impressed with the size, its one my new favorite bromeliads. Based on the picture I was expecting it to look like a tiger cub bro (thinner longer leaves), but its more filled out with broad leaves, like a fire ball just much larger, i see why its called a super ball now lol.
