Common Name(s): Peace Lily

Defining Characteristics:

  • Drought and temperature tolerant plant with and uniquely hooded, white blooms
  • Great beginner plant for those who do not consider themselves to have a green thumb
  • Can also be grown in semi-aquatic environments with the roots submerged

Care Notes: A droopy Spathiphyllum can be the result of under/over watering. Allow the soil to dry slightly before watering.

My favorite plant

Easily my most favorite plant in my paludarium, the frogs sit on it all the times. I just sat it in my aquatic section of the paludarium. And it eventually rooted into the gravel on its own, such a cool plant!
