About This Product
This heat tape is ideal for use under large reptile caging or rack systems, home brewing applications and seedling mats. It can be cut to the length required and is SOLD BY THE FOOT. Our continuous element style of 12 inch heat tape is superior to the "panel" version as it offers more even heat distribution and can be cut to almost any length.
The quantity entered is the number of feet desired. Does NOT include wire/clip/insulator set which must be ordered separately if needed. 23 watts per foot. Element width is +/- 0.125" Lengths of more than 25 feet are not recommended.
This heat tape MUST be used with a thermostat. We use and recommend the new Vivarium Electronics line of thermostats.
