Moss was decent but had a slightly abrasive feel to it, would be better for shedding reptiles and not sensitive skinned amphibians. Also has a lot of debris and dirt in it, definitely wash before using it. Keeps moist for a decent amount of time. Would recommend for reptiles, am iffy on idea of it being used for more sensitive species of amphibians though, they would probably be fine, but, this is just my opinion.

Good product. It holds moisture well and looks great in my frog tank.
