Container Gardens/Terrariums/Houseplant:

Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' is a yellow form of the traditional pothos and is called 'Gold' because of it's yellow/white variegation that runs throughout the leaves. This variegation is enhanced with more light. Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' makes a great houseplant because it is adaptable to most household conditions, regardless of the humidity levels in the air. It's easy to grow and can tolerate drying out and overwatering. This plant also would work well in the humid conditions of a terrarium, although it would have to be a very large terrarium as this plant is a profuse grower and will quickly overtake a smaller sized terrarium.

Vivariums/Animal Terrariums:

Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' is a vine, and should be planted in the back areas of a vivarium, either directly into the background, or in the substrate. When planted in the soil, Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' will quickly grow to cover the background and hardscape.

Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' has moderate water needs. Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' will tolerate a wide variety of water conditions, but does best when the substrate is kept damp. Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' will display it's best colors under bright light, but will grow just fine in dimmer lighting conditions. Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' has a vining growth habit, and does not require any air circulation to thrive. Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' is a great plant for the naturalistic vivarium, and will provide egg laying and calling sites for dart frogs. Epipremnum aureum 'Golden Pothos' is also a great plant for providing cover and a splash of color in the naturalistic vivarium.

As good practice, Josh's Frogs recommends washing all plants thoroughly removing as much soil as possible with dechlorinated water before placing them in their final home.
